This 60-hour online, self-paced course provides an overview of principles and key concepts in real estate law, finance overview, agency law, lending overview, common law and statutory law, state real estate rules and regulations, as well as real estate ethics. Upon successful completion of the course, the student will receive a Proof of Completion certificate to submit in support of the Mississippi Real Estate Salesperson license application. This pre-license course prepares students to become a real estate sales agent in the State of Mississippi and is approved by the Mississippi State Real Estate Commission and meets the State of Mississippi salesperson licensing requirements. In addition to providing an explanation and interpretation of the rules and what it means for sales agents and brokers, the course will provide a hands-on discussion of the new forms and procedures now required at the closing table.
